Portraits of Pill

There has allways been an ongoing debate as to where the proper "Pill" begins and ends. There is talk of a lane opposite Lewis Street, some say it starts at the old Tredegar Dry Dock, where the original village of Pillgwenlly once stood. Whatever! Featured here are a selection of pictures of Pill people from Alice, Lime and Arthur Street . All of who lost their homes in the 1970s re development. We see Baker the Butcher, the Arthur family, some typical Pill homes and an image from St Michael's RC Church.
One classic image is that of Algies Chip van, much loved , and allways welcome.
Where ever Pill started and ended, there is one thing that is for certain, those featured here, are genuine ,original Pill people.
