NEWPORT Monmouthshire 1916

These interesting set of images are from the NEWPORT WHO'S WHO of 1916. The images are self explanatory but it is interesting that images of Monmouth, Magor, Caerleon , Llantarnam and Usk were included in the publication. Newport was then a town of some importance, it was stated in GWR (Great Western Railway) literature that Newport was the most westerly town in England.
