Quiet Womans Row

Classic Wynns Haulage

Pictured Below are two of my favourite Wynn's Pictures. 1570 DW Pacific 194 Valiant, pauses for a steam showman's engine. This was taken , I think , not long after her registration in 1963, note the lining on the rear of the ballast box. I am note sure of the location of either pictures, but the second is Pacific 192 Dreadnought driven by Tommy Cromwell ,negotiating a sharp bend, on which stands one of the many country filling stations which were in abundance and always eager to fill up a Pacific or Diamond T. because of their ferocious appetite for diesel. The trailer is 789 crane 300ton capacity swan necked. Can anyone remember Agency Fuel Cards?
